Brooke Hunter is Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate in North Carolina who has been practicing since 2018. She obtained her Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Brooke has worked in a variety of different mental health settings such as inpatient/outpatient, residential, community, intensive in-home services and community support team services. She has more than 10 years of experience working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, stress, chronic mental health illnesses and addictive behaviors.
She believes in treatment that accommodates the totality of each persons unique, individual, physical, psychological, and emotional needs. Some of these approaches include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma informed therapy, solution focused brief therapy, internal family systems and brainspotting. While utilizing these therapeutic modalities she will be supportive and encouraging to help you create positive life changes.
